Jesus created everything. (John 1:3; Col 1:16)

God is like a parent, and we are like his child.

We deserve death and hell because of our sin. (Rom 6:23)
No one is good enough to get to heaven on their own. (Mark 10:18)
God loved us so much he became one of us. (John 1:14; Phil 2:7; Luke 19:10; ITim 1:15; Heb 2:17)
Jesus is God. (John 8:58, 10:30; Col 2:9; Heb 1:3)
He never sinned. (Heb 4:15; Luke 5:8; John 9:24-25; Luke 23:41)
He didn't deserve to die like us, but he gave his life as our substitute. (Is 53:5; IJohn 4:10; Rom 5:8; ICor 15:3; ITim 2:5-6; IPet 3:18; IICor 5:21; Heb 1:3, 2:9)
God accepts Jesus' death as payment for our sins. (Rom 8:1; Eph 1:7)
Jesus did the hard part.
Our job is to trust him instead of ourselves. (Eph 2:8-9; IJohn 1:8-9; Titus 3:5; Phil 3:8-11; Pro 3:5)
Jesus says, "Follow me." (Matt 9:9; Matt 13:18-23; John 14:15; Luke 6:46)
At the end of time, Jesus will return and take his followers to heaven...
...and send those who don't follow him to hell. (John 3:16-18; John 5:28-29; IThess 4:13-17; Rev 20:11-15)
